Vehicle Lockout Service

Lockout service refers to assistance when someone is locked out of their vehicle, home, or office. Locksmiths or specialized lockout service companies typically offer this service. Here’s a brief overview of what it entails for different scenarios:

Emergency Assistance: Most lockout services offer 24/7 emergency assistance for vehicle lockouts. This is crucial since lockouts can happen at any time.

What is a Jumpstart Service?

A jumpstart service involves using another vehicle’s battery or a portable battery booster to give enough power to the dead vehicle’s battery to start the engine.

How Does It Work?

  1. Preparation: The service provider arrives and parks the working vehicle close to the one that needs a jumpstart, ensuring that the vehicles do not touch.
  2. Connecting Cables: The provider will use jumper cables, connecting the positive (red) clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery and the positive terminal of the good battery. Then, they connect the negative (black) clamp to the negative terminal of the good battery and the other negative clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the car with the dead battery, away from the battery itself.
  3. Starting the Engine: With the cables properly connected, the provider will start the working vehicle’s engine, letting it run for a few minutes. Then, they will attempt to start the vehicle with the malfunctioning battery.
  4. Removing Cables: Once the dead vehicle’s engine is running, the cables are removed in the reverse order of how they were connected.

Tire Change Services

Tire change services are essential when you have a flat or damaged tire that needs replacement. This service can be provided by roadside assistance companies, auto repair shops, or mobile mechanics who come to your location. Here’s what typically happens:

  1. Assessment: The service provider assesses the condition of your tire to determine if it needs to be replaced or if it can be repaired.
  2. Spare Tire: If a replacement is needed and you have a spare tire, they will replace the damaged tire with your spare.
  3. Inflation and Checks: They ensure the newly installed tire is properly inflated and secure. They might also check the other tires to ensure they’re in good condition.
  4. Advice: If you don’t have a spare tire or it is unusable, they may tow your vehicle to the nearest tire shop for further assistance.
